This was a fun a pattern I started while Nancy was doing her thing 2nd week of April 2008 at bead week in Congress, AZ I finished it in about two weeks. The original pattern had a motor home and it said "home is wherever we roam". I modified the motor home to a fifth wheel and changed it to say "home is where we park it". It was a fast fun project.

We were in a thrift store and Nancy picked up this $1.00 cross stitch kit and handed it to me. She said "Here is a project for you" I am not a cat lover, so it tickled me to see one stranded in a tree. Anyway it only took a couple of weeks to finish while we were in Chula Vista visiting friends. May 2008. This project was given to Debbie DeMar in Running Springs, CA... a long time friend who loves cats.

This is a Susan J. Heiss design from the "Portrait of a Prospector" collection called Grizzle Bill & Nicodemus. It is done in 18 count aida and ended up 5 x 7 inches. It took couple of months to finish in June 2008 while traveling from Arizona to Montana.

This one is called Sand Castles and is another one of Jeanette Crews Designs from "More Seaside Stitches". It is done in 22 count aida and ended up 7 1/2 x 5 inches. I did get tired of mostly three colors of brown and not sure I like the ocean turned out. But it was a fun project and took me about two months to finish in August 2008.

These roses are from a pattern in a computer program pattern Maker for Cross Stitch v4. It is my first attempt to work with 28 count linen. The picture ended up 2 1/8 x 1 ˝ inches. A friend told that linen looked more professional… I am still undecided on that one…. Start to finish took about a week, in between beach combing, visiting relieves and events at the RV park, in August 2008 while at Evergreen Coho Escapees Resort in Chimacum, WA.

This is a Susan J. Heiss design from the "Portrait of a Prospector" collection called Panning for Gold. It is done in 18 count aida and ended up 7 x 5 inches. It took five months to finish in March 2009 while wintering in Arizona.
