This summer we had a destination in mind that lead us to Kentucky to visit a couple we spent five winters with at Wagon West RV Park in Brenda, AZ. We did a lot with Bill and Eileen including trips to Mexico, London Bridge in Lake Havasu, Shopping in Phoenix and Parker and just about every where we went, we went together. Now Bill is on Oxygen 24 7, they sold there park model at Wagon West and are staying with Eileen's son in Dry Ridge, KY. On our way to visit them we will visit my cousin in Roswell, NM and our son in Georgetown, TX. Then traveling through Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee then into Kentucky. Bill died at the age of 72 three days before we left Dry Ridge and after we had a great time reminiscing about old times in Arizona. After Kentucky we travel north to Wisconsin to visit my sister in Grantsburg for a week. Last we spent the month of August at Knife River, MN looking for Lake Superior agates before traveling back to North Ranch in September.

We decided to travel a different road to New Mexico, so after getting the wheel bearings greased in Wickenburg we headed into the high country of Arizona. We took I-17 to Camp Verde and then hwy 260 to Payson where we spent the first night. The next day we are still on roads we have been on before and stayed in Springerville. This is where we went fishing in the 1970's with David's mom and dad. Leaving Springerville with snow, rain and hail all at the same time we are now on a road we have not traveled before and we drive all the way to the Valley of Fire National Forest campground and spend the night before driving into Roswell and spending three days visiting with David's cousin.

Welcome to New Mexico.

Nothing like a blizzard to add some excitement of traveling.

The blizzard did leave some ice on our windshield.

From Roswell, NM to Georgetown, TX was a three day trip spending the first night at Big Spring, TX. The only RV Park not full was Berry Creek RV Park and they only had a one week space open. When we finally got to Berry Creek RV park the manager said she did some juggling and moved a person that only wanted a week from a monthly site to a weekly site and gave us a month in site #45. Thank you Lord.

We travel from Dry Ridge Kentucky north through Ohio, Indiana, and into Wisconsin to spend a week at Grantsburg city park, WI visiting my sister and her husband who are RVers also and we don't often end up in the same place. She called from Michigan and we decided to meet in Grantsburg where they were going to spend a week.
