November 2006 - I started these wolves in May 2005 while work camping at Arrowhead RV Park in Cascade, Idaho. I only got to work on it in-between work camping and site seeing. I also interrupted this project to cross-stitch the "A friend knows about you" puppy and kitty for our friend in San Diego. Then after finishing it in November Nancy said it was so awesome that we had to have it professionally framed for $180.00, and it now hangs in our 5th wheel. It is 14 count and is 12 inches in diameter. Everybody that sees it ooh and aah over it but no one offered me $300.00 for it yet. Ha ha

March 2007 - I found this great 18 count Gold Collection lighthouse at Walmart called "Mariners Light" and remembered how many people I run across that say they love lighthouses. So I finished it up it time for the March craft sale and a lot of people liked it. One person said she would be back to buy it but never showed up with the cash. I figure I can sell them for $25.00, which covers the materials and frames. My time is just my fun time anyway and I cross-stitch in my spare time. The frame was a one-cent sale at Arron Brothers so I got two frames for $10.01.

April 2007 - While shopping at Jo-Ann Fabric I found another 18 count Gold Collection lighthouse called "Beacon at Daybreak" for $10.00. Now I have a pair of lighthouses just waiting for the right person to come along. This was my first attempt with 18 count patterns. I liked them as they show more detail than the 14 count. So my next projects will be done in 22 count, using my number 5 magnifiers.

May 2007 - I have had Sea Scenes patterns for a long time and decided that as a summer project while we tour Alaska I would work on this one. It is a Jeanette Crews Designs, which I really like. I have gone to her web page and ordered two other pattern books. I decided to do these two patterns in 22 count. The finished picture ended up 10 1/2 x 4 1/2. I finished the Fishing Trawlers in September 2007 just after we got back to Arizona from our Alaska trip.

September 2007 - I started this as a winter project while staying at Wagon West RV Park. It is the other It Jeanette Crews Designs in the same package as the Fishing Trawlers. This one is called Pelicans and is also done in 22 count. I worked at it off and on and finished it in April 2008. The finished picture is 10 1/2 x 4 1/2.
